Nunavut Oral Health Pilot Project
Description:
The Nunavut Oral Health pilot project is starting in Arctic Bay, Cape Dorset and Repulse Bay on September 30, 2013. The goal of this initiative is to promote good oral health and prevent dental illness in children up to 7 years of age.

Children up to 7 years of age
Coverage:
Examinations for infants and children up to the age of 7. All examinations will include checking the gums and teeth. Each child will receive some preventive treatments, including sealant and fluoride treatment and temporary fillings.
Children will receive a free dental kit that includes toothbrush and toothpaste.
